IMPORTANT: Pistons, connecting rods, rod
bearings, and bearing retainers are wearing parts
and seat with the operation of the engine.
Because of this, it
is
essential to maintain their
original positions at reassembly. Using an indeli-
ble
ink marker, mark each connecting rod, cap,
and bearing component
as
they are removed to
ensure proper reassembly. Keep the
needles of
each
cylinder together.
IMPORTANT: Loosely install cylinder head to
prevent pistons from
falling out.
