3. Finish ghtening the pedals using the supplied 15 mm
wrench. The pedals must be very ght. Check and reghten
the pedals aer your rst two rides.

ADJUSTING RIDE COMFORT

Changing suspension adjustment can change the handling
and braking characteristics of your bicycle. After making
an adjustment, test-ride the e-bike in a hazard-free area.
Continue to adjust until you achieve the desired ride.
INSTALLING THE PEDALS
NOTICE
It’s critical that the pedals are tightened rmly in the crank arm to prevent the pedals
from loosening while riding, which will result in signicant damage to the bike.
1. Idenfy the le and right markings on the pedals. Be sure
to install the pedals on their respecve side.
• “L” is for the le pedal and is installed on the le crank arm.
• “R” is for the right pedal and is installed on the right crank
arm (chain side).

NOTE: Both pedals ghten toward the front of the e-bike.
2. While keeping the pedal horizontal, carefully hand-start the
threads of the pedal into the crank arm.
In most cases, the factory sengs for the forks and rear shocks
will not require adjustment. But, if you desire a soer or ser
ride, adjust the forks and rear shocks as follows.
NOTE: Always adjust the forks and rear shocks in small increments.
Adjust the forks and rear shocks at the same me.
To adjust the forks:
• Rotate the pre-load knob and compression knob
counterclockwise to soen the ride. Rotate both knobs
equally.
• Rotate the pre-load knob and compression knob clockwise
to sen the ride. Rotate both knobs equally.

To adjust the rear shocks using a 5 mm hex wrench:
• Rotate the plug on both the le and right shocks
counterclockwise to soen the ride. Rotate both plugs
equally.
• Rotate the plug on both the le and right shocks clockwise
to sen the ride. Rotate both plugs equally.
