Results of Improper Adjustment
1) Adjusting the tilt of the presser foot

in

Turn the handwheel and place the feed dog
in
the position

the

Loosen
setscrew O and adjust

that

comes
in
contact evenly
with
the

tighten setscrew
O.
(Reference) Accurate adjustment can be made by using two
pieces
of
thin paper to check for even drawing-out tension.
In addition, even contact of the presser foot with the throat
plate top surface is achieved rather easily
by tightening
the screw while pushing the right side of the presser foot.

Adjusting the micro-lifting mechanism of the presser foot

When
moving
presser lifting lever 8 just a little, perform
it
with
fine adjustment screw O.
