6.5 Replacing the hydraulic oil filter
The hydraulic oil filter is located on the
left hand side of the tilt cylinder and can
be accessed by removing the base
plate.
– Unscrew the hydraulic oil filter cap (5).
– Replace the filter cartridge; if the
O-ring is damaged, it must also be
replaced. Lightly oil the O-ring on
installation.
– Screw in the cap again.
6.6 Checking the brake system oil level

The brake oil container can be seen from the right side when the steering column is
tilted back.
To refill or change the mineral oil, the cover (6) must first be removed.
M
Do not use conventional brake fluid, refill only with prescribed mineral oil.
– Park the truck securely (See Chapter
E).
– Remove the cover (6) after loosening
the screws.
– Visually inspect the oil level on the
expansion tank (7), if necessary ( add
transmission oil (see section 5.1).

The oil level must lie between the „Min.“
and „Max.“ levels.

Used parts, oils and fuels must be
disposed of in accordance with the
applicable environmental protection
regulations.

On rotary seat trucks the brake fluid con-
tainer is clearly visible on the pedal plate.

The brake oil container can be seen from the right side when the steering column is
tilted back.
