In order to protect the IMPRESSA from frost during transportation,
the system must be emptied.
Pr eco n di t i o n: The IMPRESSA is switched off (standby).

T Open t he cover of t he programming but tons.
c T Press the rinse button until SYSTEM EMPTYING appears.
A smal l amount of wat er f lows f rom t he hot wat er pipe and
the steam pipe. The operation stops automatically. The
IMPRESSA will switch itself off.
3 T Turn your IMPRESSA off at the power switch.

Chapt e r 2 , ‘ Pr e p a ri n g a nd usi n g f o r t h e f i r st t i m e – Fi r st - t i m e u se’ ).

Old machines cont ain valuable mat erials capable of being recycled
which should be salvaged for recycling. Please therefore dispose of
old machines via your regional collection system.
