What to do if my JVC DLA-NX5 Projector remote control does not work?
    • W
      wilsondanaAug 25, 2025
If your JVC Projector remote control isn't working, first ensure the batteries are correctly loaded, matching the polarities. If they are, try replacing them with new ones. Also, make sure there's no obstruction between the remote and the projector's sensor, and ensure you're not too far from the unit.

How to fix if the video image does not appear on my JVC DLA-NX5 Projector?
    • J
      James AllenAug 26, 2025
If the video image does not appear on your JVC Projector, ensure that the correct external input is selected. Check that the AV device or PC is turned on and properly connected, and that it is outputting the correct signals. Verify that you are using an HDMI-certified high-speed cable. If you are using an intermediate device, change the sequence of turning on the source device, intermediate device, and the projector, ensuring that the signal output is stable before turning on the next device. If using an old source device, change the resolution setting or try connecting to the HDMI 2 terminal and set “HDMI 2 EDID” to “B.”

Why is my JVC DLA-NX5 making noise?
    • A
      Alexis RodriguezAug 27, 2025
The noise from your JVC Projector may be due to several reasons. Check if the exhaust vent is blocked or if the unit is near a heater or air conditioner; high surrounding temperatures increase the fan speed. If viewing 3D video, the “Lamp Power” is automatically set to “High,” increasing fan noise; you can set it to “Low” if it bothers you. Also, setting “Lamp Power” to “High” manually increases fan speed. The sound could also be from the e-shift operation if the “8K e-shift” setting for “MPC” is switched; this is normal.

    Makayla KennedyAug 27, 2025
Why is my JVC DLA-NX5 projected image dark?
    • J
      Jason WhiteAug 27, 2025
If the projected image on your JVC Projector is dark, check the lamp time in the “Information” menu to see if the lamp is near exhaustion and needs replacement. Also, verify that the aperture is not closed by increasing the value of the “Aperture” setting, and ensure that “Lamp Power” is not set to “Low” by setting it to “High.”

How to troubleshoot if JVC Projector power is not supplied?
    • C
      craig20Sep 16, 2025
If the JVC Projector is not getting power, make sure the power cord is firmly plugged in. If the unit is in Standby mode, unplug it, close the lamp cover properly, and then plug it back in. If the unit is in Cool-down mode, wait for it to exit this mode before turning the power on again. If the unit is in Eco mode, press the A button on the projector or remote, then press the C [ON] button after the “STANDBY/ON” indicator lights up in red.

Why is the video image flickering on my JVC DLA-NX5 Projector?
    • D
Dr. Nicole Chapman DDSSep 14, 2025
If the video image on your JVC Projector is flickering, and you see horizontally extended, overlapping video images, set “3D Format” to “Auto.” If you're viewing the images under a fluorescent light, try turning the light off. If “Aperture” is set to “Auto 1” or “Auto 2”, set it to “Manual.”
  • R
    Renee PearsonSep 5, 2025
Why does the 3D video image look unnatural on my JVC Projector?
    • M
      Mrs. Angela HicksSep 5, 2025
If the 3D video image looks unnatural on your JVC Projector due to overlapping video images, it could be due to the crosstalk phenomenon. Adjust “Crosstalk Cancel” accordingly. This often occurs when there are drastic changes in brightness, so set “Lamp Power” to “High.”

    Brittany EscobarSep 3, 2025
Why does my JVC Projector show a video image horizontally or vertically extended?
    • F
      frederickchristopherSep 3, 2025
If the video image on your JVC Projector appears horizontally or vertically extended, ensure that “3D Format” is set to “Auto.” Also, verify that “Anamorphic” is set to “Off.”
