Why is there no picture on my JVC DT-V100CG even though the power is on?
    • W
      williamswendyAug 16, 2025
There could be several reasons for this. Make sure the signal cable is securely connected. Verify that the connected component is powered on and sending a signal. Ensure you've selected the correct input using the INPUT SELECT buttons. Check that the input signal is compatible with the monitor's or input unit's specifications. Finally, if any of the self-check indicators (INPUT SELECT A through D lamps) are blinking, follow the procedures in “Self-check Indications.”

      Cynthia CrawfordAug 20, 2025
First, reset the picture adjustments to their standard (00) values, or perform “reset” in “PICTURE SUB ADJ.” to revert to default settings. You can also perform “reset” in “COLOR TEMP./BAL.” to restore color balance. Check if the SCREENS CHECK function is activated and, if so, press the SCREENS CHECK button repeatedly to return the screen to normal. If a Component Unit is attached, ensure all cables are firmly connected and that the correct signal is being input, selecting it with the INPUT SELECT C button if necessary.

Why is the picture shaking on my JVC DT-V100CG?
    • M
      Michelle AndrewsAug 25, 2025
The shaking picture could be caused by the monitor's proximity to devices generating strong magnetic fields, such as motors, transformers, fans, fluorescent lights, laser printers, or other monitors. Move the JVC Monitor away from these devices. Also, try connecting the power plug to a different AC outlet.

Why are the colors irregular on my JVC DT-V100CG?
    • P
      penajacobAug 31, 2025
Irregular colors might appear if the monitor is near a speaker or another device with a magnet, or if the monitor's position was changed while it was on. Move the device away from the monitor. Then, run the DEGAUSS function in the MAIN MENU to degauss the screen. If you need to degauss again, wait at least 30 minutes for the best effect.

How to fix wrong picture position or size on JVC Monitor?
    • T
      Terrence MurraySep 5, 2025
If the picture position or size is incorrect, adjust the picture size (H. SIZE, V. SIZE) or position (H. POSITION, V. POSITION) in “SIZE/ POSI. ADJ.”. For distortion or tilt, use “DISTORTION ADJ.” to adjust the picture distortion (PARALLELOGRAM, TRAPEZOID) or tilt (ROTATION). If you have pressed the SCAN SIZE button, press it again to invalidate the setting. Note that picture expansion might be limited depending on the selected input mode.

What to do if front panel buttons on my JVC Monitor do not function?
    • S
      Shawn Pace MDSep 8, 2025
If the front panel buttons are not working, check if the CONTROL LOCK function is set to “ON.” If so, set it to “OFF.” Also, verify that the monitor’s settings haven't been changed to enable control by an external device connected to the REMOTE terminal. If so, change the external control setting so the front panel buttons can be used.
