Focus Assist (P, A, S, M, U and SCN only)
To adjust focus easily, the contour of focused parts are highlighted in color.

Assist Color (P, A, S, M, U and SCN only)
Sets the color of contour line which is displayed in the “Focus Assist” function.
Setting Details
RED Sets the color of contour line to red.
GREEN Sets the color of contour line to green.
BLUE Sets the color of contour line to blue.
WHITE BALANCE (P, A, S and M only)
Adjusts the color according to the light source.

TELE MACRO (P, A, S, M and U only)
Enables close-up shots when using the telephoto (T) end of the zoom.

ZEBRA (P, A, S, M and U only)
Diagonal lines (zebra pattern) are displayed only at areas with the specified luminance levels.

Automatically adjusts focus and brightness based on the subjects’ faces or selected area.

LIGHT
Turns on/off the light.
Setting Details
OFF Does not light up.
AUTO Lights up automatically when the surrounding is dark.
ON Lights up at all times.
DIS
Camera shake during video recording can be effectively reduced.

GAIN UP (P, A, S and M only)
Makes the subject appear bright automatically when recording in dark places.

Details
OFF Does not adjust the brightness.
+6dB Adjusts the brightness to the low level in dark places. (+6 dB)
+12dB Adjusts the brightness automatically in dark places. (+12 dB)
+18dB Adjusts the brightness to the high level in dark places. (+18 dB)
