What to do if my JVC GZ-MG760 Camcorder is not recording?
    • J
      Jessica WebbAug 8, 2025
If recording cannot be performed on your JVC Camcorder, first ensure the / button is correctly set. Then, use the + button to select the recording mode. If the issue persists, try turning the unit off, waiting briefly, and then turning it back on. This helps if the unit has automatically stopped to protect itself from overheating. Also, move the camcorder away from noisy or shaky environments. Make sure that you've inserted a microSD card and that 'REC MEDIA FOR VIDEO' and 'REC MEDIA FOR IMAGE' are set to 'SD' in the media settings menu, as there might be an issue with the HDD. Keep in mind that recording will automatically stop after 12 hours of continuous use.

      Alexis JohnsonAug 17, 2025
If the POWER/CHARGE lamp on your JVC Camcorder is blinking when the monitor is closed, check the remaining battery power. The lamp will not flash when the battery pack is fully charged. Also, when charging in a hot or cold environment, ensure that the battery is being charged within the permitted temperature range. Charging may stop to protect the battery pack if the temperature is outside of this range.
