• Some Bluetooth devices may not automatically
connect to the unit after pairing. Connect the
device to the unit manually.
• Refer to the instruction manual of the Bluetooth
device for more information.
Auto Pairing
When you connect the following devices to the USB
input terminal, pairing request (via Bluetooth) is
automatically activated.
KD-R981BT / KD-R889BT / KD-R881BT : iPhone/iPod touch/
Android device
KD-R784BT / KD-R782BT : Android device
Press the volume knob (for
KD-R981BT / KD-R784BT /
KD-R782BT ) or (for KD-R889BT / KD-R881BT )
to pair once you have confirmed the device name.
Automatic pairing request is activated only if:
– Bluetooth function of the connected devcie is
turned on.
–
[AUTO PAIRING] is set to [ON] . ( 16)
– JVC MUSIC PLAY application is installed on the
Android device
( 8) and [AUTO MODE] is selected
( 9) .

The buttons will blink in the blinking pattern you have selected in
[RING ILLUMI] . ( 14)
• The unit answers the call automatically if [AUTO ANSWER] is set to a selected time. ( 14)
During a call:

The buttons stop blinking and illuminate in the color you have selected in

The symbolic button stop blinking and illuminate in the color you have selected in

The buttons stop blinking.
• If you turn off the unit or detach the faceplate, the Bluetooth connection is disconnected.
