Settings for using applications of
iPod touch/iPhone/Android
Before using applications of iPod touch /iPhone/
Android, select the device to use.
When connecting the device for the first time, the
setup screen (for connection, etc.) appears. Follow
the procedure on the setup screen to configure
the settings.
Preparation:
• For Android: Connect the Android device via
Bluetooth. (Page52)
• For iPod touch/iPhone:
– Connect iPod touch/iPhone with a cable
(Page81 ) or via Bluetooth (Page52).
– Select the connection method of iPod touch/
iPhone on <iPod Setup>. (Page23)
1 Display the <Settings> screen.
On the Home screen:

2 Display the <System> setting screen.
3 Display the <APP Setup> screen.
• If [Enter] for <APP Setup> cannot be
selected, turn off the AV source. (Page7)
4 Select the device type (1), then press
[Change] (2).
5 Select the connection method (1), then
confirm the selection ([OK] or [Next]) (2).
For Android:
[Bluetooth] Select this when the device is
connected via Bluetooth. (Go to
step 6.)
[HDMI/MHL+
Bluetooth]*
Select this when the Android
device is connected both
by cable
KS-U60 (optional
accessory) or KS-U61 (optional
accessory) to the HDMI/
MHL input terminal and via
Bluetooth. (Go to step 6.)
For iPod/iPhone:

Select this when the iPod/iPhone
is connected using a USB 2.0
cable (accessory of the iPod/
iPhone) or KS-U62 (optional
accessory).

AV-IN]
Select this when the iPod/iPhone
is connected using KS-U59
(optional accessory).
[Bluetooth] Select this when the iPod/iPhone
is connected via Bluetooth. (Go
to step 6.)
[HDMI +
Bluetooth]*
Select this when the iPod/iPhone
is connected using HDMI cable KS-
U60 (optional accessory) and KS-
U62 (optional accessory) through
a Lightning-Digital AV adapter
(accessory of the iPod/iPhone). (Go
to step 6.)
6 When selecting [HDMI/MHL +
Bluetooth]*, [HDMI + Bluetooth]* or
[Bluetooth] as the connection method,
the paired device list appears. Select the
target device (1), then press [OK] to
connect (2).
• If the device is already connected, skip step 1.
* Appears only for KW-V630BT .
