Display Indicators
The indications on the display tell you a lot of things while you are operating the System.
Before operating the System, be familiar with when and how the indicators illuminate on the display.

1 SLEEP indicator
• Lights when the Sleep Timer is activated. (See
page 21.)
2 A.STBY (Auto Standby) indicator (See page 21.)
• Lights when Auto Standby is activated.
• Flashes when playback stops with Auto Standby
activated.
3 Playback mode indicators
• PRGM: lights when Program Play is activated.
(See page 25.)
• RND: lights when Random Play is activated. (See
page 26.)
• Repeat Mode indicators (See page 27.)

: lights when REPEAT ALL is activated.

: lights when REPEAT GRP is activated.

: lights when any Repeat Mode other than

• Lights when VARIO BASS is activated. (See page

• S.MODE: lights when one of the Sound Modes is
activated.

: lights when one of the Sound Modes with
surround effect is activated.
7 C. VOICE (Clear Voice) indicator
• Lights when Clear Voice is activated. (See page
17.)
8 (My Sound) indicator
• Lights when MY SOUND is activated. (See page
16.)
9 FM reception indicators (See page 11.)
• ST (Stereo): lights while an FM stereo station
with sufficient signal strength is tuned in.
• MONO (Monaural): lights while receiving an FM
stereo station in monaural.
p Karaoke operation indicators (only for CA-NXG9)

• K.Scoring: lights when Karaoke Scoring is
activated; flashes when Karaoke Scoring is in use.

: lights when Mic Mixing is activated.

: lights when Echo is activated.
• V.MASK: lights when Vocal Masking is
activated.

is on standby or is being set; flashes while it is

• HQ/SP/LP: indicates the transfer rate for

• HIGH: lights when the high speed recording is

r REC (Recording) indicator
• Lights when recording started. (See page 30.)

y PRGR (Progressive) indicator
• Lights when the progressive scanning mode is
selected. (See page 7.)
u Bluetooth indicator (See page 39.)
• Lights when the Bluetooth connection is
established.
• Flashes when the Bluetooth adapter is connected
and “Bluetooth” is selected as the source.
• Flashes when the Bluetooth adapter is connected
and the Bluetooth transmitter is activated.
i HD indicator
• Lights when video signal is transmitted in 1080i,
720p or 1080p. (See page 7.)
o HDMI indicator
• Lights when video signal is transmitted through
the HDMI cable. (See page 7.)
