SCAN switch
For
the
MULTI
MUSIC
SCANNER
operation,
set
this
switch
to
the
left
position
(ON).
Set
to
the
right
position
(OFF)
for
other
cases.
Audible output from the speakers may not be -
obtained if the SCAN switch is turned on
during the playback mode. Be sure to set this
switch to the OFF position for the cases other
than programing the MULTI MUSIC SCAN-
NER facility.
FM stereo indicator
Lights when an FM stereo broadcast program
is being received. If the MODE/METER
switch is set to MONO/TUNE.BATT, the
indicator does not light. The broadcast will be
heard in monaural.
Tuning knob
Turn this knob to tune in a desired broadcast.
Dummy holes for connecting microphones
with remote control plugs
The remote control switch on the external
microphone will not function.
Microphone jacks (MIC)
Connect optional external microphones to
these jacks. Connecting an external micro-
phone to one jack for one channel auto-
matically switches off the built-in microphone
of that corresponding channel.
DIN-type jack (REC/PB)
When recording or playing back through ex-
ternal stereo components, hookup is per-
formed via this jack using the optional DIN
connecting cord.
External speaker jacks (EXT SPEAKER 822)
These jacks are for speakers rated at 8 ohms
with a type St speaker plug; St DIN 41 529
or equivalent. The built-in speakers are auto-
matically switched off with the external
speakers connected.

Léschknopf (CLEAR)
Driicken Sie diesen Knopf zum Léschen, der zu Uber-
springenden Programme. Dies wird zur Neupro-
grammierung der automatischen Programmwahl-
Einrichtung benutzt.
Abtastschalter (SCAN)
Fir die MULTI MUSIC SCANNER-Funktion stellen
Sie diesen Schalter auf die linke Stellung (ON). Stellen
Sie ihn auf die rechte Stellung (OFF) in anderen
Betriebsarten.
Es kann kein hérbarer Ausgangston von den Laut-
sprechern erzielt werden, wenn der Abtastschalter
(SCAN) wahrend der Wiedergabe eingeschaltet ist.
Beachten Sie, da Sie diesen Schalter auf OFF stellen,
wenn Sie die MULTI MUSIC SCANNER-Einrichtung
nicht programmieren.
UKW-Stereoanzeiger (FM)
Leuchtet auf, wenn eine UKW-Stereosendung emp-
fangen wird. Wenn der Betriebsart/MeRinstrument-
Schalter auf MONO/TUNE.BATT gestellt ist, leuchtet
der Anzeiger nicht auf. Der Sender wird dann monaural
gehort.
Abstimmknopf
Drehen Sie diesen Knopf, um den gewtnschten Sender
einzustellen.
Blindlécher zum Anschlu& von Mikrofonen mit Fern-
bedienungs-Steckern
Der Fernbedienungs-Schalter am externen Mikrofon
kann nicht bedient werden.
Mikrofonbuchsen (MIC)
SchlieBen Sie zusatzliche, externe Mikrofone an diesen
Buchsen an. Beim Anschlu& eines externen Mikrofons
an eine Buchse fiir einen Kanal, wird das dem Kanal
entsprechende eingebaute Mikrofon automatisch aus-
geschaltet.
DIN-Buchse fiir Aufnahme/Wiedergabe
Fir Aufnahme und Wiedergabe Uber externe Stereo-
Gerate, sind deren Anschliisse an dieser Buchse, mittels,
des
als
Zubehér
erhaltlichen
DIN-Kabels,
durch-
zufuhren.
Buchsen fiir externe Lautsprecher (EXT SPEAKER 822)
Diese Buchsen sind nur zum Anschlu& von 8 Ohm
Lautsprechern, mittels eines Anschlu®kabels mit
Stiftstecker, gedacht; St DIN 41 529 oder ein ent-
sprechender Stecker. Die eingebauten Lautsprecher
werden
beim
Anschlu&
der
externen
Lautsprecher
automatisch ausgeschaltet.

Touche d’annulation (CLEAR)
Appuyer sur cette touche pour annuler les sélections de
programmes 4 omettre. Elle sert 4 reprendre depuis le
début la sélection automatique de programme.
Commutateur de balayage (SCAN)
Régler ce commutateur sur la position ON (vers la
gauche) pour mettre en route le dispositif de balayage
de recherche MMS Multi Music Scanner. Dans tous les
autres cas, le régler sur la position OFF.
Si le commutateur de balayage (SCAN) est réglé sur
la position ON en cours de reproduction, aucun son ne
sort des haut-parleurs. Il convient donc de bien veiller
a ce que ce commutateur ne soit en position ON que
lors de la mise en programme a I’aide du systéme de
balayage de recherche MMS Multi Music Scanner.
Voyant de FM stéréo
Ce voyant s‘allume lorsque {’appareil recoit une émis-
sion FM en stéréophonie. Ce voyant ne s‘allume pas
lorsque le commutateur combiné de mode/meodulo-
métre (MODE/METER) est réglé sur la position
MONO/TUNE.BATT. En ce cas, I’émission en ques-
tion est regue en monophonie.
Bouton de syntonisation
Imprimer 4 ce bouton un mouvement de rotation de
maniére a régler l‘appareil sur la station choisie.
Prises neutres pour branchement de microphones
munis de fiches pour commande 4 distance
L‘interrupteur de commande 4 distance du microphone
ex térieur ne fonctionne alors pas.
Prises micro (MIC)
Ce prises servent au branchement de microphones
extérieurs vendus séparément. Lorsqu’on branche un
microphone extérieur sur I’‘une des prises, le micro-
phone incorporé du canal correspondant se débranche
automatiquement.
Prise de type DIN pour I’enregistrement/lecture
Lors de Il’enregistrement ou de la lecture 4 I‘aide
d’appareils stéréo externes, le raccordement s‘effectue
4 l'aide de cette prise en utilisant le cable de raccorde-
ment facultatif DIN.
Prises de haut-parleurs extérieurs (EXT SPEAKER 82)
Ces prises sont destinées pour des haut-parleurs
étalonnées a 8 ohms possédant des prises de haut-
parleurs normales, DIN 41 529 ou équivalentes. Les
haut-parleurs incorporés sont automatiquement coupés
lorsque les haut-parleurs extérieurs sont raccordés.
