Rewind auto play facility
Automatic playback from the tape’s beginning
after rewinding the tape can be performed with
this facility.
1. Set the SCAN button to OFF.
2.
Press
the
PLAY
button
while
the
REW/REVIEW
button
is
being
pressed
until
they
both
lock.
3.
The
automatic
playback
starts
when
the
tape
reaches
its
beginning
in
the
rewind
mode
and
REW/REVIEW
button
is
released
automatically.
Notes:
1.
If
the
PLAY
button
is
reset
immediately
after
being
depressed,
check
to
see
if
the
tape
is
fully
wound
on
the
left
side
reel.
2.
When
playing
back
the
tapes
recorded
through
the
ANRS*
or
DOLBY™
circuit,
step
down
the
TREBLE
control
as
the
ANRS
or
DOLBY
recorded
tapes
are
boosted
in
high
frequency.

— Be sure to set the FUNCTION switch to the
TAPE position. The automatic program selection
(MMS)
mechanism
will
not
operate
with
the
FUNCTION switch in any other position. —
The MMS mechanism functions by detecting rela-
tively long (more than 3 — 4 sec) non-recorded
sections such as those between different programs
selections. It allows you to locate the beginning of
any program selection, up to 16, in either forward

Automatische Riickspul/Wiedergabe-Einrichtung
Das Deck kann mit Hilfe dieser Einrichtung auf auto-
matische Wiedergabe vom Bandanfang, nach dem das Band
zuruckgespult worden ist, gestellt werden.
1. Stellen Sie den Abtastschalter (SCAN) auf OFF.
2. Driicken Sie den Wiedergabeknopf (PLAY) wahrend der
Riickspul/Repetier-Knopf (REW/REVIEW) — gedrickt
wird, bis beide einrasten.
3. Die automatische Wiedergabe startet beim Erreichen des
Bandanfangs beim Riickspulen und der Riickspul/
Repetier-Knopf (REW/REVIEW) wird automatisch frei-
gegeben.

—Beachten Sie, da& Sie den Funktionsschalter (FUNCTION)
auf TAPE gestellt haben. Der automatische Programmwahl-
Mechanismus (MMS) funktioniert nicht, wenn sich der
Funktionsschalter (FUNCTION) in einer anderen Stellung
befindet. —
Der MMS-Mechanismus funktioniert durch Aufsptren von
verhaltnismaRig langen unbespielten Bandabschnitten (mehr
als 3 — 4 Sek.), wie z.B. zwischen verschiedenen Pro-
grammen. Er erlaubt Ihnen von bis zu 16 Programmen auto-
matisch jeden Programmanfang in der Vorwarts- und

Dispositif de lecture automatique aprés réenroulement
Ce dispositif permet de faire démarrer automatiquement la
lecture de bande dés qu‘est terminé le rebobinage.
1. Régler le commutateur de balayage (SCAN) sur la posi-
tion OFF.
2. Appuyer sur le touche de lecture (PLAY) tout en main-
tenant en position enfoncée la touche de retour rapide
et repérage (REW/REVIEW) jusqu’a ce qu’elles se ver-
rouillent toutes les deux.
3. La reproduction se met automatiquement en route
lorsque la bande arrive en fin de course en mode de re-
bobinage et la touche de retour rapide et repérage
(REW/RE VIEW) se libére automatiquement.
Remarques:
1, Si le bouton de lecture (PLAY) se libére de lui-méme immédiate-
ment aprés avoir été enfoncé, vériffier si la bande n‘est pas en-
roulée complétement sur la bobine de gauche a I‘intérieur de la
cassette.
2. Lors de la lecture de bandes eneregistrées par I'intermédiaire des
circuits ANRS* ou DOLBY™, diminuer curseur de réglage de
la tonalité aigué (TREBLE), car les systemes ANRS et DOLBY
accentuent les fréquences élevées.

— S’assurer que le commutateur de fonction (FUNCTION)
est bien réglé sur la position TAPE. Le dispositif de sélec-
tion automatique MMS est rendé inopérant si le commuta-
teur de fonction (FUNCTION) est réglé sur toute autre
position. —
Le dispositif MMS fonctionne de la maniére suivante: il
repére les espaces non enregistrés d’une durée d’au moins 3
ou 4 secondes qui séparent les programmes de sélection, et
permet de retrouver automatiquement le début de ces pro-
grammes (16 au maximum) soit dans le sens de défilement
de la bande, soit dans le sens opposé.
