Listening to sounds using Bluetooth
®
technology
When you connect this system and a Bluetooth
device for the first time, both the system and the
device need to register each other. This procedure
is generally called “pairing”. Once you have paired
a Bluetooth device, you do not have to pair the
same device again.
1 Connect a Bluetooth USB adaptor.
2 Press [Bluetooth 6].
• “BT” (Bluetooth) is selected as the source in
the display window.
• Wait until the “Bluetooth” indicator flashes in
the display window.
3 Press [Bluetooth SETTING] repeat-
edly while holding down [SHIFT] to
select “PAIRING” in the display
window.
4 Press [ENTER/SET].
5 Operate the desired Bluetooth
device (audio player, mobile phone
or computer) to be paired to this
system.
• “UX-GN9V” appears in the display of the
Bluetooth device during the pairing proce-
dure. Enter the passkey of this system
(0000) on the Bluetooth device.
• For details on how to enter the passkey,
refer to the operation manual for the Blue-
tooth device.
• When the paring procedure is properly com-
pleted, “SUCCESS” appears in the display
window on the main unit.
NOTE
• You can pair up to 5 transmitting Bluetooth
devices such as audio players, mobile phones
and computers (and up to other 5 receiving
Bluetooth devices such as headphones). If you
pair a sixth device, the first paired device is
replaced.
• Only one device can be connected to the system
at a time. To select a Bluetooth device, refer to
page 50.
• When you finish step 5, the main unit may auto-
matically receive signals depending on the Blue-
tooth device. At this time, you do not have to
proceed to the later steps.
6 Press [Bluetooth SETTING] repeat-
edly while holding down [SHIFT] to
select “RECEIVE” in the display
window.
7 Press [ENTER/SET].
