Timer Operations
Setting the Timer
Using Recording Timer, you can make a tape of a radio
broadcast automatically. On the other hand, with Daily
Timer, you can wake up with your favorite song.
• You can store one Recording Timer setting and three Daily
Timer settings.
• You cannot activate Daily Timer and Recording Timer at
the same time. (Activating either timer deactivates the
other timer.)
• To exit from the timer setting, press CLOCK/TIMER as
required.
• To correct a misentry during the process, press CANCEL
while holding SHIFT. You can return to the previous step.
1 Select one of the timer setting modes you want to set—
Recording Timer ON time, Daily 1 ON time, Daily 2
ON time, or Daily 3 ON time.
2 Make the timer setting as you want.
Repeat the following operations until you finish setting in
the following order—
For Recording Timer:

Set the hour then the minute for on-time.

Set the hour then the minute for off-time.

Select the playback source—“TUNER-FM” or
“TUNER-AM.”

For “TUNER-FM” and “TUNER-AM”: Select a
preset channel.

Select the volume level.
• You can select the volume level (“0” to “40” and
“VOLUME – –”).
If you select “VOLUME – –,” the volume is set to
the last level when the unit has been turned off.
Once settings are complete, the Timer setting information
appears in sequence.
For Daily Timers:
