@ Connect the AC power cord after all other connections
have been made.

Exclusive car adapter (market available)
e First connect the car adapter to the DC IN 12 V jack, not
the cigarette lighter socket, because shorting of a plug
i on the car may cause the fuse to blow out. In addition,
| be careful not to make a short-circuit between the plugs.
@ When using a car battery, be sure to use the
specified car adapter (marked ©-¢-©@ available
from an audio store) to prevent mishaps or
damage resulting from different polarity design.
Notes:
e@ When there is a power failure or the AC power cord is
disconnected, the timer/clock setting is erased from
memory. Reset the clock when the power supply is
restored.
@ Do not block the ventilation holes of the deck/amp unit
so that heat can escape. Do not install the unit in a
badly ventilated place.
