6 Operation
6.1 Using the remote control for the first time

1. Place the batteries in the remote control (see section 6.5).
2. Place the plug in the socket.
3. Open the gas tap.
The remote control has a display and four keys.
This can be used to operate the Fairo and change settings.
6.2 Basic menu
In control mode, the basic menu will always appear on
the display, an overview screen with the current values:
current mode, current time and measured room
temperature. The flame indicates that the Fairo is
ignited.
