5. 3.6.3 Tighten both knobs to set the backrest angle. The angle can be
adusted from -1°~14°.

5.3.7 Headrest Adjustment
On the mounting bracket of the headrest, (See Figure 5-20), use the #4
Allen Key Wrench provided in KARMA tool kit to adjust the headrest in
the following directions: left, right, forward and backward. (See Figure
5-21) The height of the headrest is also adjustable. (See Figure 5-22)

5.3.8 Transferring In the Powered Wheelchair
5.3.8.1 Engage the freewheel levers and make sure that the controller is
turned off.
5.3.8.2 Flip up the footplates and swing the footrest to the side.
5.3.8.3 Lower the user into the seat, and use the armrest for support.
5.3.8.4 Swing back the footrest and flip down the footplates so that the user
can place his feet upon them.
5.3.8.5 Turn on the controller.
5.3.9 Transferring Ouf of the Powered Wheelchair
5.3.9.1 Make sure that the chair is as close as possible to the place you're
transferring to.
5.3.9.2 Engage the freewheel levers and make sure that the controller is
turned off.
