11.1.4 If you can't find shelter, proceed to your destination. However, we do
not recommend you do this often as it may shorten the life of your
wheelchair or cause damage.
11.1.5 Driver's seat upholstery: use soapy water. Wring out the sponge/
cloth before scrubbing. Do not use the wheelchair until it is dry.
11.1.6 Frame: wipe with a damp cloth, but be sure not to splash/spray the
wheelchair with water, as doing so may damage the motor, electrical
wiring and battery.
11.1.7 If compressed air is available, you can use the compressed air to clean
your wheelchair (do not exceed 7K and keep the nozzle at least 10 cm
away from your wheelchair).
11.1.8 Casing: wipe with a damp cloth. After it is dry, coat the casing with a
light layer of wax, if desired.
11.2 Post-Consumer Recycling
11.2.1 A post-consumer recycling plan should follow the Environmental
Protection Administration's regulations.
