3.3 End Feed Operations
All KAS end feeders are synchronised to the HS565 via the 23-pin control plug and socket on
the main connector panel. If another end feeder is used it may be connected to the 23-pin
socket depending on customer application.
If no or limited synchronisation between end feeder and the HS565 is required the feeder
should be connected to the 12 pin socket. Wiring will be supplied where needed.
The ‘On Line’ sensor is located at the far end of the machine to the envelope section,
underneath the end smoothers. Documents are received from an end feed device or hand fed
onto this position.
