Finally, the timer might be activated, so turn the timer off.

  If your Kaysun Air Conditioner changes from COOL/HEAT mode to FAN mode, it might be doing so to prevent frost from forming. Once the temperature increases, it will start operating in the previously selected mode again. Alternatively, the set temperature may have been reached, causing the unit to turn off the compressor. The unit will continue operating when the temperature fluctuates again.

  If the indoor unit of your Kaysun Air Conditioner is making noises, a rushing air sound may occur when the louver resets its position. A squeaking sound might be heard when the system is OFF or in COOL mode, or when the drain pump (optional) is in operation. A squeaking sound may also occur after running the unit in HEAT mode due to expansion and contraction of the unit’s plastic parts.

  If both the indoor and outdoor units of your Kaysun Air Conditioner are making noises, a low hissing sound during operation is normal and is caused by refrigerant gas flowing through both units. A low hissing sound when the system starts, has just stopped running, or is defrosting is also normal and is caused by the refrigerant gas stopping or changing direction. Squeaking sounds can be caused by normal expansion and contraction of plastic and metal parts due to temperature changes during operation.

The problem may resolve itself. If not, disconnect the power, then connect it again, and turn the unit on. If the problem persists, disconnect the power and contact your nearest customer service center.
