2.3.4 To MIDI Hardware + Computer
The SoftStep can be connected to both a computer and external MIDI hardware at the same time
(KMI MIDI Expander required).
1. Connect the SoftStep’s EXPAND port to the EXPAND port on the Expander using a USB A to
mini-B cable.
2. Connect the SoftStep’s main USB port to the computer using a USB A to B cable. The SoftStep
and Expander should power up.
3. Use a MIDI cable to connect the Expander’s MIDI OUT to the MIDI IN on the external MIDI
device.

MIDI 機器およびコンピューターとの接続
SoftStep は、コンピュータと外部 MIDI 機器の両方に同時に接続することもできます（KMIMIDIExpander が
必要です）。
1. SoftStep の Expand ポートと Expander の EXPAND ポートを、USBA ／ mini-USBB ケーブルで接続します。
2. SoftStep のメイン USB ポートとコンピュータを、USBA ／ USBB ケーブルで接続します。これで SoftStep
と MIDIExpander の電源が入ります。
3. Expander の MIDIOUT と外部 MIDI 機器の MIDIIN を MIDI ケーブルで接続します。
