CHAPTER 3. GAS SAFETY
1. Thisapplianceisnotconnectedtoburningproductsevacuationapparatus.This
appliancemustbeconnectedandinstalledaccordingtotheinstallationregulations
inforce.Conditionsregardingventilationmustbeconsidered.
2. When agas cooking appliance is used; humidity, heat and burning products
aregeneratedintheroom.Firstofall,makesurethekitcheniswellventilated
whenoperatingtheapplianceandmaintainnaturalventilationopeningsorinstall
amechanicalventilationequipment.
3. After using the appliance heavily for en extended period of time, additional
ventilationmayberequired.Forexampleopenawindoworadjustahigherspeed
formechanicalventilation,ifany.
4. Thisappliancemustbeusedonlyinwellventilatedlocationsinaccordancewith
theregulationsinforce.Pleasereadthemanualbeforeinstallingorusingthis
product.
5. Beforepositioningtheappliance,makesurelocalnetworkconditions(gastype
andgaspressure)meetsappliancerequirements.
6. Themechanismcannotberunforlongerthan15seconds.Iftheburnerisnot
onafter15seconds,stopthemechanismandwaitforatleastoneminutebefore
tryingtoignitetheburneragain.
7. Allkindsofoperationstobeperformedongasinstallationmustbeperformed
byauthorizedandcompetentpeople.
8. Thisapplianceisadjustedfornaturalgas(NG).Ifyouhavetouseyourproductwith
adifferentgastype,youhavetoapplytoauthorizedservicefortheconversion.
9. Forproperoperation,hood,gaspipeandclampshouldbereplacedperiodically
accordinttomanufacturerrecommendationsandwhenrequired.
10. Gasshouldburnwellingasproducts.Wellburninggascanbeunderstoodfrom
blue flame and continuous burning. If gas does not burn sufficiently, carbon
monoxide(CO) canbegenerated. Carbonmonoxide isacolourless,odourless
andverytoxicgas;evensmallamountshavelethaleffect.
11. Askyourlocal gassuppliesabout thephonenumbers for emergenciesrelated
togasandthemeasurestobetakenupongasodourisdetected.
