6.3 Pump maintenance
Cleaning/servicing the multi-vane impeller (GTF500):
Check the ease of movement of the moving parts.
Check the ease of movement of the float switch.
Remove the intake cage.
Remove the spiral housing.
Check the multi-vane impeller for deformation and ease of
movement.
Clear the ventilation pipe. ➋
Clean moving components.
Clean the exposed multi-vane impeller using a water bath.
Wipe the float switch down with a damp cloth.
Assemble the pump again in reverse order.
