7.9.1 Using the brake lever

Pull the left brake lever for the front wheel brake and
the right lever for the rear wheel brake until the
desired speed is reached.
7.9.2 Using the back-pedal brake
Alternative
The best braking effect is achieved if the pedals are in
the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock position when braking. To
bridge the free travel between the riding movement
and the braking movement, it is recommendable to
pedal a little beyond the 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock
position before you pedal in the opposite direction to
the direction of travel and start braking.
Pedal in the opposite direction to the direction of
travel until the desired speed has been reached.
