Video Processor Transition Times
KD-MLV4x4Pro switches seamlessly when all displays are in the same mode; either full-screen or multi-view.
• If all displays are in full-screen mode, switching from source to source is seamless.
• If all displays are in multi-view mode, selecting a new multi-view layout is seamless.
However, each time an output transitions modes (full-screen / multi-view), every output will experience
temporary image loss while the video processor updates.
• All outputs are affected until the processor has completed its update
• After the processor update has completed, sync is restored with the connected displays.
When outputs are in a mixture of full-screen and multi-view modes:
• Switching sources for an output currently in full-screen mode is not seamless. The other outputs are not
affected.
• Selecting a new multi-view layout for an output currently in multi-view mode is seamless. The other
outputs are not affected.
Sync times are faster when connected directly to the display via HDMI than when using the UHDoTP extension.
• HDMI sync time: 4-7s
• UHDoTP sync time: 4-20s, depending on CAT cabling length and quality
