Calibration 3
Model N6705 Service Guide 59
100 uA/200 uA Range Measurement - for Option 1UA or 2UA
only
Step 1.
Remove all loads from the output.
Select either the 100 µA current measurement range or the 200 µA
measurement range. Then wait 10 seconds.
From the Calibration menu,
select Current, 1UA/2UA Option
Range Meas. Then select Start.
CAL:CURR:MEAS 0.0001, (@1)

CAL:CURR:MEAS 0.0002
, (@1)
Select the first current calibration point.
The first calibration point is automatically
selected. “Waiting 10 seconds” should be
displayed.
Connect the Keysight 3458A and a 20 k Ω resistor to the output (see
equipment list in chapter 2 and Cal Setup D).
Measure the output current with the
Keysight 3458A and enter the value.
Select the Measured Data field. Enter the data
from the external DMM and then select Next.
Select Close to finish calibration.

Peak Current Limit Calibration
Note that for models N6763A through N6766A, the peak current limit
calibration is valid for 5 years.
Step 1. Connect
only the electronic load or equivalent resistor (up to 500W
rating) across the output terminals for the first calibration point:
N6761A /N6762A: 25 Ω resistor (do not use electronic load) 4 Ω resistor (do not use electronic load)
N6763A: Electronic load set to 26.25A, CC mode
(0.6 Ω equivalent, including lead resistance)
Electronic load set to 13.12A, CC mode
(1.2 Ω equivalent, including lead resistance)
N6764A: Electronic load set to 10.5A, CC mode
(3.8 Ω equivalent, including lead resistance)
Electronic load set to 5.25A, CC mode
(7.6 Ω equivalent, including lead res.)
N6765A: Electronic load set to 43.75A, CC mode
(0.37 Ω equivalent, including lead resistance)
Electronic load set to 21.88A, CC mode
(0.73Ω equivalent, including lead resistance)
N6766A: Electronic load set to 17.5A, CC mode
(2.3 Ω equivalent, including lead resistance)
Electronic load set to 8.75A, CC mode
(8.75Ω equivalent, including lead resistance)
Select peak current limit calibration.
