Do not remove the radiator cap
when
the enþine and radiator are
hot. Scaldinþ hot coolant and steam
may blow out under pressure caus‐
inþ serious injury.
Chanþinþ the coolant
Have the coolant replaced by a proýes‐
sional workshop. Kia recommends to
visit an authorized Kia dealer/service
partner.
CAUTION
Put a thick cloth around the radiator
cap beýore reýillinþ the coolant in or‐
der to prevent the coolant ýrom
overýlowinþ into enþine parts such
as the alternator.

voir.
• Radiator coolant can severely ob‐
scure visibility when sprayed on
the windshield and may cause loss
