Folding the outside rear view mir

ror
Manual type (if equipped)
To fold the outside rear view mirror,
grasp the housing of the mirror and then
fold it toward the rear of the vehicle.
Electric type (if equipped)
The outside rear view mirror can be
folded or unfolded by pressing the
switch as below.
僅 To fold the outside rear view mirror
depress the button.
僅 To unfold it, depress the button again.
The electric type outside rear view mir

ror operates even though the ignition
switch or ENGINE START/STOP button is
in the LOCK or OFF position. However,
to prevent unnecessary battery dis
-
charge, do not adjust the mirrors longer
than necessary while the engine is not
running.
In case it is an electric type outside rear
view mirror, don't fold it by hand. It could
cause motor failure.
Reverse parking aid function (if
equipped)
When you shift the gear to the R
(Reverse) position, the outside rear view
mirror(s) will rotate downwards to aid
with driving in reverse.
The position of the outside rear view
mirror switch (1) determines whether or
not the mirrors will move:
Left/Right: When either the L (Left) or R
(Right) switch is selected, both outside
rear view mirrors will move.
Neutral: When neither switch is selected,
the outside rear view mirrors will not
move.
