To address a low battery in your Kidde Smoke Alarm, you can silence the alarm for 24 hours by pushing the button once. Push the button again to clear Hush and perform a test. Keep in mind that 7 days after the low battery notification begins, you won't be able to silence it. Alternatively, you can remove the unit, discharge it, dispose of it, and replace it as soon as possible.
