Adjusting the carburetor
NOTES:
> The adjustment of the carburetor should only be done by an expert!
> The air lter has to be clean.
> The guide bar and the saw chain have to be assembled.
The carburetor is set at the factory and should only be adjusted later if it is absolutely
necessary.
The carburetor has three adjusting screws (14):
T for adjusting the idling speed.
L for adjusting fuel delivery at idling speed.
H for adjusting fuel delivery at full throttle.
Use the screws L and H to adjust the quantity of fuel in relation to the air stream. Turning
the screw clockwise produces a leaner fuel-air mixture (less fuel); turning the screw
anti-clockwise produces a rich mixture (more fuel).
Silencer
If it be necessary to modify or replace the silencer, contact an authorised service centre
or a similarly qualied person.
