Empty tank and ll up with the
correct mixture.
Carburetor setting not correct? Adjust the carburetor.

the engine.
Incorrect fuel or incorrect
mixture?
Stop the engine and empty
tank, then ll up with the correct
mixture.
Chain does
not start.
Chain brake triggered? Loosen chain brake.
Chain starts
up before
throttle trigger
is pressed.
Chain brake is not engaged? Engage chain brake.
Idling speed too high? Press throttle trigger again
slightly after starting.
Adjust the carburetor.
Insufcient
chain
lubrication/
grease.
The saw chain oil tank empty? Fill up saw chain oil.
Oiling port clogged? Clean oiling port.
Wrong saw chain lubrication
setting?
Increase the saw chain
lubrication.
