7. PUTTING THE MACHINE INTO OPERATION

- Legen Sie ein Stück Hartholz am Anschlag entlang.
- Stellen Sie das Holzstück an der Messerschneide an.
- Drehen Sie die Hobelwelle ein um halbe Umdrehung mit
der Hand in Richtung des Pfeils.
- Das Holz sollte sich um etwa 2 bis 3mm links versetzen.
- Führen Sie diese Handgriffe rechts und links von jedem
Messer durch und zwar nach jedem Anziehen der äußeren
Schrauben (P).
- Machen Sie diese Überprüfung nach jedem Messerwech-
sel.
- Wenn dies nicht der Fall ist, justieren Sie die Messer noch-
mals (siehe «Einstellen der Hobelmesser»).
- Ziehen Sie anschließend mit einer Kraft von 15 N/m die 4
Messerschrauben fest an.
Wichtig : wenn diese Bedingungen nicht erfüllt werden kann
nicht richtig gehobelt werden.
- Place a piece of hard wood along the fence.
- let the wood touch the knife edge.
- With your hand, turn the cutter block half a revolution in the
direction of the arrow.
- The wood should move by about 2 to 3mm.
- Operate this procedure at right and left of each knife, after
every tightening of the outer bolts (P).
- Execute this checking every time you change the knives.
- If this is not the case, adjust the knives again (see «Setting
the planer blades»).
- Then firmly tighen the 4 knife bolts at a force of 15 N/m.
Important : If these conditions are not observed, adequate
planing is not possible.
