Preheat the espresso machine
1. Plug the power cord into the power outlet and press the "On/O" button.
When the red on/o indicator light is on and the coee indicator light is
ashing, the espresso machine will start preheating. When the thermometer
shows between 80 and 120 ℃ (position of the coee symbol) and the coee
indicator light is on, the preheating process is complete. If you want to switch
o the espresso machine, press the "On/O" button again.
2. Place the lter screen in the portalter, insert the portalter into the espresso
machine in the "insert" position, and then turn it clockwise to the "locked"
position.
3. Place the coee cup under the lter and press the "one cup" button (3) to
preheat the espresso machine and coee cup with hot water.
Preparation of an Italian espresso coee
1. Fill the lter with ground coee, smooth it out and press the ground coee
rmly into the lter.
2. Place the lter in the portalter, insert the portalter into the espresso
machine in the "insert" position, and then turn it clockwise to the "locked"
position.
3. Place the coee cup under the portalter when the coee indicator light stops
ashing, then press the one-cup button (3) or the two-cup button (8) to brew
the coee.
4. The device will stop automatically when one or two cups have been prepared.
Note: Do not leave the espresso machine unattended while it is in use.
• After brewing coee, allow the espresso machine to cool for 5 minutes. Turn
the portalter to the left and remove it.
• When completely cool, wash the portalter and lter screen with fresh water
and clean the body and drip tray with a damp cloth.
