Operating Instructions

Continuity Test

Tests continuity on non-energized wires and indicates pass/fail with a green or red CONT indicator.

Tone Frequency Selection

Select and cycle through available tone frequencies (800Hz, 1000Hz, 1500Hz) using mode buttons.

Tracing Paired Wires

Connect clips to wires, turn on unit, and use a probe to identify the toned pair by volume detection.

Tracing Non-Paired Wires

Connect clips to desired wires and use a probe to identify the toned wire by volume increase.

RJ11/RJ12/RJ45 Testing

Use the RJ11 plug for testing tone on RJ11, RJ12, or RJ45 jacks.

Polarity and Voltage Testing

Test polarity and voltage presence using indicators for normal, reverse, or AC voltage conditions.
