What to do if KNF Water Pump produces no flow?
    • M
      mkiddAug 11, 2025
If your KNF Water Pump isn't producing any flow, here's what you can check: * Verify that there is voltage in the power source by checking the room fuse and switching it on if necessary. * If the thermal switch has operated due to overheating, disconnect the pump from the mains, allow it to cool, and identify and eliminate the cause of overheating. * Inspect connections and lines for blockages and remove them. * Check external valves and filters. * If condensate has collected in the pump head, detach the condensate source from the pump and flush the pump. * If the diaphragm or valve plates/sealings are worn, replace them.

If your KNF Water Pump is switched on but doesn't run, and the on/off-switch is not lit, check the following: * Ensure the pump is connected to the mains power. * Check the room fuse and switch it on if necessary to ensure there is voltage in the power source. * Remove the pump’s mains plug from the socket, loosen the marked lid on the underside of the pump, and replace the fuse if it is defective.

      Tara BrownSep 3, 2025
If your KNF Water Pump is switched on but does not run, and the on/off-switch on the pump is lit, it may be due to the thermal switch opening because of overheating. Remove the pump's mains plug from the socket, allow the pump to cool down, and identify and eliminate the cause of the overheating.

Why is the flow rate low in my KNF Water Pump?
    • S
      Sergio PooleNov 18, 2025
If the flow rate, pressure, or vacuum is too low in your KNF Water Pump, consider the following: * If condensate has collected in the pump head, detach the condensate source from the pump and flush the pump. * Change the pressure conditions if there is gauge pressure on the pressure side and vacuum or pressure above atmospheric pressure on the suction side. * If pneumatic lines or connection parts have an insufficient cross section, disconnect the pump from the system to determine output values, eliminate throttling if necessary, and use lines or connection parts with a larger cross section if needed. * Check that tubes sit correctly on hose nozzles, replace leaky tubes, and eliminate leaks if leaks occur on connections, lines, or the pump head. * Check connections and lines and...
