7. Dismantling and disposal
CoolAdd may be dismantled by suitably qualified staff only.
Prior to dismantling:
- Switch off fans and any other electri cal
components and disconnect from the electricity supply!
- Secure against switching on!
- Shut down water cooling circuit and secure against
swit ching on.
Disconnect the unit from external water circuit by closing the shut-off val ves and
draining the water circui t in the unit.
Transport the unit as described in the section "Transportation"
Dispose of the air-conditioner according to applicable disposal and
safety instructions. We recommend using a specialized recycling organisation.
All parts can be stripped down and consitis of:
- aluminium, steel, brass, copper
- labelled plastic parts
- electronic parts
