If your Kobalt Trimmer stops while cutting, several factors could be at play. First, the motor shaft or cutting head may be bound with grass. To resolve this, stop the trimmer, disconnect the battery, and remove any grass from the motor shaft and cutting head. Alternatively, the motor could be overloaded. Try moving the cutting head to cut grass no more than 8 inches in a single pass, then remove the cutting head from the grass and restart the tool. Finally, the battery pack or trimmer may be too hot. In this case, release the trigger switch, allow the tool to cool down, and then try starting it again.
