Sensor detects motion that
moves across the detection zone
MOUNTING LOCATIONS:
IMPORTANT: The more direct sunlight the solar panel receives in a day, the longer the
light will operate.
Determine the mount location, such as a wall or eave. Fixture should not be
mounted up-side down. Position the triple-head LEDs in the general direction of
the desired light coverage. Ensure solar panel is mounted in a place that receives
direct sunlight at least four hours during the day.
OPTIMAL MOUNTING HEIGHT FOR MOTION SENSOR
• Install the motion sensor anywhere up to 2.5 m / 8.2 ft above the ground. Motion
sensor is less sensitive above 2.5 m / 8.2 ft. If the light xture is mounted higher
than recommended, aiming the sensor down will reduce the coverage area.
• Mount sensor away from heat producing sources to prevent false triggering. Be
very careful not to include objects such as windows, white walls and water in
the detection zone.
• Mount xture away from moving objects such as trees and street trafc.
Place solar panel in a location where it can
collect the most sunlight. Be aware of objects
such as trees or property overhangs that
may impede the panel’s ability to generate a
charge.
Use a power drill (not included) to create the
holes on your chosen mounting surface. Use
4 of the included wall anchors and fasten the
solar panel to the surface.
Rotate the solar panel to the desired angle.
