Exposure Metering
Evaluate light levels at specific
areas of a scene.
Multi-Pattern (default)—evaluates lighting conditions
throughout the im age to give an optimum picture expo sure.
Ideal for general picture taking.
Center-Weight—evaluates the lighting conditions of the
subject centered in the lens. Ideal for backlit subjects.
Center-Spot—similar to Center-weight, except the metering
is concentrated on a smaller area of the subject centered in the
lens. Ideal when you need an exact exposure of a specific area
in the picture.
AF Z one
Select a large or concentrated
area of focus.
Multi-Zone (default )— evaluates 5 zones to give an even
picture focus. Ideal for general picture taking .
Cent er-Zone— evaluates the small area centered in the lens.
Ideal when you need precise focus.
ISO Speed
Control the sensitivity of the
cam era s en sor.
Auto (default)
ISO 80, 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600, 3200 (ISO 3200
availa ble for picture sizes of 3.1 MP or less.)
Red Ey e Pr efl ash
Choose whether a preflash
fires when the flash is in Red
Eye mode.
On (default)—red eye flash fires before the picture is taken.
Off—red eye flash does not fire.
NOTE: The camera automatically corrects red eye, even if the Red Eye
Preflash is set to Off.
Sharpness
Control picture sharpness.
High
Normal (default)
