page 3. (You may purchase rechargeable AA batteries and a charger

Charging the Ni-MH rechargeable batteries
Lights are on while the charger is plugged in.
(See the charger documentation for
instructions and charging times.)
All batteries lose power over time–even if they’re not being used. For
longer life, fully charge KODAK Ni-MH Rechargeable Batteries AA prior to
use.
