Remove Air Cleaner Assembly
1. Unscrew the knob on the air cleaner assembly
and remove the cover. See Figure 8-9.

2. Remove the paper element and the foam
ȱǻȱǼǯ
ȱ řǯȱ ȱȱȱ¡ȱȱȱȱ¡ȱĚȱ
screw securing the air cleaner base to the cylinder
head and the crankcase. See Figure 8-10.
4. Detach the breather hose from the crankcase. See
Figure 8-11.

5. Remove the air cleaner base and detach the
ȱȱȱȱȱǻȱȱ
ȱȱ¢ǼǯȱȱȱŞȬŗŘǯ

6. Remove the air cleaner base gasket from the
carburetor, noting orientation. See Figure 8-12.
