10. Install the Valve Trim
Shower valve trim:
Slide the sleeve over the shower valve.
Slide the handle base over the shower valve and secure to the valve stem with the lock washer and
#8-32 x 1/2″ roundhead screw.
Turn the handle base fully counterclockwise to the ″Off″ position.
Slide the O-ring onto the handle base and into the groove.
Snap the cap onto the handle base with the dimple of the cap pointing to the ″Off″ position.
Carefully slide the two grip rings onto the handle base and into the grooves.
Transfer valve trim:
Slide the two O-rings into the grooves on the flange.
Slide the sleeve over the flange.
Install the spline adapter to the valve stem.
Slide the handle base over the spline adapter and secure to the valve stem with the lock washer and
#8-32 x 7/8″ roundhead screw.
Turn on the water supply to the unit and turn the shower valve handle clockwise until water flows
from the shower.
Turn the transfer valve handle to any setting.
Slide the O-ring onto the handle base and into the groove.
Snap the cap onto the handle base with the dimple of the cap pointing to the setting currently in
use.
