Governor lever and spring
Check that the shoes (S, g. 30) are level and that the springs have
not lost their elasticity. Renew any excessively worn parts after con-
sulting the spare parts catalogue.

Oil pump checking
The pump is of the lobed rotor type driven by the camshaft.
Dismantle pump and check rotors.
Check lobes and centers and if they are worn, replace rotors.
Check the amount of pump wear, measure rotor A and rotor B (see
g. 31), and compare to the following table:
If wear exceed these gures, replace complete pump.
The coupling clearance between oil pump external rotor and base-
ment housing is:
