Controller Resetting Procedure (following fault shutdown)
Usethefollowingprocedureto restartthe generator set
after a fault shutdown. Reset thecontroller andcorrect
the fault before resetting the generator set.
NOTE
If the fault is not corrected, the generator set will start
and then shut down in 8 seconds.
1. Place the generator set master switch in the
OFF/RESET position untilthe fault lamp goesout.
See Safety Precautions before proceeding.
2. Disconnect generatorset fromloadwithlinecircuit
breaker or automatic transfer switch.
3. Place generator set master switch in the RUN
position to restart the generator set. Refer to
Section 4 Troubleshooting for possible causes of
fault shutdown.
4. Place the generator set master switch in the
OFF/RESET position.
5. Correct cause of fault shutdown.
6. PlacethegeneratorsetmasterswitchinNORMAL
position (RUN or AUTO) for start-up.
