12.8 STOPPING MACHINE

WARNING
Avoid stopping suddenly. Give yourself ample room when stopping.
When stopping the machine, select flat hard ground and avoid
dangerous places. If it is unavoidably necessary to park the machine
on a slope, insert blocks underneath the track shoes. As an additional
safety measure, thrust the blade into the ground.
If the control lever is touched by accident, the work equipment or the
machine may move suddenly, and this may lead to a serious accident.
Before leaving the operator’s compartment, always apply the lock
securely.
1. Move the engine speed control lever forward to the low idle position.
