Care and maintenance
Oil / care
• Immediately after installation: Clean and
impregnate/oil the fence elements.
• Repeat this procedure once a year to pre-
vent staining.
• Any dierences in colour can be evened
out using appropriately pigmented WPC
oils.
• Do not use stain or paint to clean and
maintain the product.
• When installing the individual fence ele-
ments, make sure that only panels from
the same batch are used. Due to the
natural ingredients, slight colour dier-
ences between the dierent batches are
possible. Deviations of the surface colour
that are within a common range in re-
spect to material and production lines do
not constitute a reason for objection.
• Remove bird droppings and fallen leaves
from the surfaces, as they can cause dura-
ble stains on the product.
• Store elements that are not being used
dry and protected from direct sunlight
to avoid staining or deformation of the
product.
• WPC-surfaces: In case the product is
dirty or mouldy, clean with mild, vinegar-
based detergent and warm water. Never
use caustic agents to clean plastic parts,
as the product can be damaged. Due to
the high percentage of natural ber, the
product absorbs humidity and releases it
again when heated. Thermal related uc-
tuations are the result.
• Aluminium surfaces: To protect the
high-end aspect of your product, clean
the surfaces only with mild, vinegar-based
detergent and warm water. Do not use
cleaning agents containing solvent or
chalk, since the lacquer coat of the alu-
minium might come o.
