There is a malfunction present
at the "twine" electric motor.
Check the "twine" electric motor.
The twine brake is not re-
leased when feeding twine.
Check the "twine" electric motor.
Check and set the twine brake, see chapter Settings,
"Setting the twine brake".
The tying actuator (net) is not
in the cutting position.
Check and set the cutting position, refer to page65.
There is a malfunction present
in the release mechanism of
the cutting unit.
Check the mechanism.

Twine tying
Possible cause Remedy
FMI 7: The twine stops during activated tying. The twine tears off after the starting process or
during tying.
One or several spools of twine
are empty.
Insert new spools of twine.
There is a fault in the twine
process, e.g. the twine end is
incorrectly knotted.
Check the twine process, see chapter Operation, “Twine
tying”.
The twine brake has been set
with too much force.
Check and set the twine brake, see chapter Settings,
"Setting the twine brake".
The "twine" electric motor is
unable to find a tying position.
Check and adjust the sensorB63 "Twine tying mechanism
position", refer to page67.
The tying actuator (net) is not
in the cutting position.
Check and set the cutting position, refer to page65.

The twine is not cleanly cut.
Check the cutting unit.
Check the blade activation mechanism.
The twine is not cut short
enough.
Check and set the twine brake, see chapter Settings,
"Setting the twine brake".

FMI 7: The speed of the feed roller is below the minimum when the twine is pulled.
The machine is blocked.
Remove the blockage.
The PTO shaft is rotating too
slowly.
Set a higher rotational speed via the tractor on the PTO
shaft.
