The
appliance

descaling
program
needs to be
run.
The machine
measures its
scaling level
itself. If
descaling
is not
accessible,
this means it
is not
necessary.
Descaling your
machine
ensures it works
properly and
removes any
limescale or
tartar deposits.
This step is
very important
to ensure your
appliance works
well and lasts
a long time.
During the rst
descaling phase,
water does not
necessarily
ow from the
nozzles. This
is normal; the
amount of water
and product
used by the
machine
depends on
the number of
coffee drinks
and milky drinks
made since the
last descaling.
Accessory
required: 1 KRUPS
descaling sachet
and a container
with at least 600ml
capacity. When a
descaling program
needs to be run, the
appliance will notify
you. O When the
descaling threshold
is reached and the
warning displayed,
press “
” to run
the program; to
postpone it, press
“
”. Once the
procedure has
started, follow the
instructions that
appear on the
screen. Descaling
can also be run via
the “Maintenance”
menu ->
“Descaling”.

Important : You do not have to run the maintenance program as
soon as the appliance requests it, but you must do so reasonably
soon afterwards. If cleaning is postponed, the warning will remain
displayed until the operation is performed.

Important : If you unplug your machine during maintenance, or in the
event of a power failure, the cleaning program will resume from the start.
It will not be possible to postpone this operation: it is mandatory to rinse
the water circuit. In this case, a new cleaning tablet may be necessary.

HOW TO ACCESS YOUR MACHINE’S SETTINGS
Your KRUPS Evidence machine has many settings so don’t hesitate
to try them! This will allow you
to personalise your experience even more.
The “Settings” menu can be accessed through the “ ” button that
gives access to the general menu
(machine settings, maintenance and product info).
SETTINGS
By selecting “Settings”, you can make the changes you want for
optimum comfort
of use, adapted to your preferences. The main settings available are:
Date
The date must be set, particularly if using an anti-
limescale cartridge.
Clock
You can select either a 12- or 24-hour clock
display.
Language
You can select the language of your choice from
the options provided.
Unit of
measurement
You can choose between ml and oz for the unit of
measurement.
Screen
brightness
You can adjust the screen brightness according
to your preference.
Coffee
temperature
You can adjust the temperature of your coffee
drinks between three levels.
Tea
temperature
You can adjust the temperature of your tea
between three levels.
Water
hardness
You must set your water hardness between 0 and

Auto on
You can automatically start preheating the
appliance at a chosen time.
